I hope to make both threads helpful to everyone.

I am a returinig player and I have noticed some new NM as well as jobs (obviously). And as such I am very excited.

I quit before they really implemented any exp bonuses or made it really viable and affordable to solo anything but BST (yeah i know there were ways to solo a variety of jobs) But it was costly and took an insane amount of time.

It was one of the reasons I skilled up Alchemy so I could make Sleep,Bloody,Acid Bolts so I could solo thf past 60.

Thf is my favorite job so far but hard to get invites for self evident reasons past 60. So with the advent of Dancer that makes that a lot more viable to accomplish.
With Dancer we get an awesome job that is a blast to learn and I look forward to continuing to progress the Job. Initially I want to make it a workable sub for thf but ultimatly i'll enjoy it as much as i have thf.

I was busting your balls a bit, ^^ I was just messing though. No I was gonna help you actually with the dancer thread a bit. I was gonna make a list of hard to find/ not well known Ra/Ex items that benefit the heck out dancers. And If I had time write up some info on /sam, /Drg, /Nin, /War, /???. I'll see what's on the agenda with me and the wife this evening, and try and remember to get some info up in your thread.

(p.s. Dancer is probably my 2nd favorite job<and my main focus at this time> at this point in FFXI, is the reason I went where I did with my previous comment^^, I've been a RDM since i started, And then a PUP, but I'm pretty sure If I don't take any other job to cap, it'll be Dancer and Red Mage)

(have 15, almost 16 jobs @ 75 and those 3 are probably my favorite, but when I re-approach beastmaster in april things might change.)

Thank you all for your comments both productive and not.

Thank you also for your opinions good or bad they both help me determine how much time and effort should go into this project. As has been stated I do not want to waste my time or yours and if you have multiple comps @ home like I do then needing this available @ work is mute.

Sometimes we just want a project because it may help others some of us are just that way we can't help it and others aren't and they cannot help it either we are just viewing the same situation with different ideals and priorities.

I will start to compile all the info I think will be vital to ppl hunting NM initially it will be just farming NM but may become Quest NM eventually also (IE spawned NM for quest ) the scope and particular i have not sat and completely fleshed out yet but I will be doing so.

I hope to have a rough draft by this weekend and if i do i will post if for you to comment on.

Just due to the fact that i have not completed leveling a job does not necessarily mean that I am not also able to utilize other guides and give full credit as will as compile and centralize said information for the convenience of the community.

as stated in the Dancer thread I will be making adjustments and trying to update as much of the info as I am able to to anyone going thru the job after me cause as we all know SE loves changing everything right after we do it. so it makes it easier or takes less time or whatever rational is behind the action.

Wasn't trying to lump ya in, sorry... I simply found your post easiest to reply to for justifying my "goofing off at work" (which by definition, it is) when others had insinuated the same in their posts but did not just say it outright. Also ... being at work I cut and paste then get called away from playtime and come back to a bunch of stuff and have totally forgotten where I was going ...sometimes.

I would love a thread like that.

I have limited time to do anything in game and spending time to look things up would take away that limited time.

What I have been doing is planning to do something one day, and the next day to actually do it. This will give me more time to actually play. I can plan what/how to do something during lunch time and when I get home to actually do it.

Well... you don't know exactly what the OPs information will actually end up being formatted as... mayhaps he'll realize links to sites no access is granted won't be what he wants and he'll simply copy and paste. To Ass u me...

Besides, there's nothing wrong with wanting the info available at work so you can plan your nightly NM hunting session or whatever during your lunch break.

Damn helping people and bringing people back to life is good and all but I want to goof off like you guys at work lol.

Not our faults there is downtime at work and the Nazi's in our computers generally allow access to sports but anything entertainment, vidz, or job search related is taboo.

well I will wait until the poll closes but so far it is 3 -1 in favor of making a thread that gives knowledge of NM's here I will of course have to do most of this at home during my play time but i may be able to work it into my easy prey /farming time on my thf. I generally play FFXI on my laptop since i can play that anywhere I go then provided I have a connection. and use my other 2 computers for information gathering.

But it's your time, so knock yourself out. Personally I'd rather do something interesting with my time, like watching paint dry which would provide hours more entertainment then what you're suggesting.

Wiki has all the information you would just be replicating here. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that that all you'd be doing is a copypasta from the wiki here.
