Server changing possible at all?

Title says it all. :D I haven't played in 2 years+ and I was curious if it was still not possible to transfer servers? I have a couple 75s and all of my friends have moved servers. Sucks. lol

Nope, sorry. Only when they do migrations.

Yeah, the migrations (aka. World Shifts) are when SE chooses to do and only to the servers they pick and it's even random there. A Large LS shifting is likely to get a single world but any others hoping to get into that world will likely end up being bumped to another.

World Shifts are to balance out the server populations.

When you say your friends have moved servers, did they start from scratch again or actually migrate to a different server together?

There won't be any till they add new servers, and that's unlikely to happen any time soon *if ever*.
Only way to move now is to start over, like what I did a year ago. Left a lv70 character with 93 fishing and 85 woodworking behind to go to a better place.

There were rumors that SE might do a pay-for-change policy. Blizzard has implemented that feature into player's accounts. Basically it's $25 per character transfer (With the fine print, of course) and only one transfer for that character every 6 mos (Which would stop people from buying something cheap from one server and unload items in another server or from people transferring only to give gil to a friend - or from RMTs moving around gil)
