There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,
but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence
transform a yellow spot into the sun.

Not tryin to start a FW here [honestly NT!], but how does THAT look like BST Architecture?

If it resembles anything in-game already, it looks like the NPC area's in Davoi. Those in Davoi may have been Mob built, but they're more a safe haven for Travellers, so I doubt it.

Also, you can see the wind chimes, so it's going to be some kind of relaxing/holy place.

I a gree it looks too calm for a beastmen. If anything, it looks like a combination of windurst and kazam architecture. And yea that davoi ramp thing with a taru.

In order to control parasite infestations, the wooden structures that cover the capital are burned down and rebuilt every few years. Therefore, much of the construction in Mamook appears rather crude. Like the Mamool Ja's equipment, the few intricate decorative metals in the area were created by prisoners taken by Mamook. Furthermore, sacred stones situated in each area of the capital are believed to harbor the spirits of fallen Mamool Ja heroes and protect Mamook from evil.

I just looked at the rest of the pics, and I'm pretty sure it's a city, not a Beastman Area. It's even got nomad moogle umbrella's and a vendor stand, not to mention the buidlings.

Were you talking about the "parasites" being the mobs?

Cuz that's probably just some wierd form of termite. I don't know for sure here, but I'm also not seeing anything that leads me to belive this'll be beast infested.

Suit yourself. It's the Mamool Ja city. They wouldn't be called beastmen and adversaries if they were friendly. The parasites are probably chigoe.

Would be nice if Jei would say something more about it besides, "Hey! That's like the inside of my Multi-Mirrion Gil MH!"

Where's the beef Jei! Where's... the... beef...

that looks very, very similar to the playtest areas at the ffxi festival. i got to play there for a while and i did some wandering, so it does look identical.

if it is the same, then i think the beastmen con around DC to tough at lvl 60 if i remember correctly.
