forgot POL password (JPN ver.)

Hello.

I used the instructions detailed on this site long ago to set-up/register my JPN ver of FFXI and POL. When I initially did this I set the password field to save the password and also, on the "connect" window, chose to have it auto-connect. So basically when I boot up POL it automatically logs in and I only have to go through a couple windows to play FFXI.

Well, recently when trying to create another character I realized I do NOT have my password written anywhere and I have no idea what it is. I contacted the NA support for POL and they told me that they would not be able to assist me since it was a JP account. They said they do NOT know the policies of the JP POL support and do not know how I would go about finding out my password.

So basically I can connect just fine on my PS2 at anytime, but as far as creating a new character, moving my account from the PS2 to a next gen system in the future, etc, I do not know my password to do so.

The main issue I see here is contacting JP POL support because I am not fluent in japanese. Weither its a matter of a email, a phone call, or live chat online, I dont believe I could pull this off... Especially since I used the information in the guide on this site that gives random information for the address, phone number, account name, etc. ot fill the fields required to complete the set-up. The only information I could verify with JP POL support would be my debit/credit card information.

Any comments, suggestions, or help would be greatly appreciated. The reason I am posting here is simply because the guide I followed to set-up the JP ver of POL and FFXI was here, so maybe someone can assist me with issues on it

First you should really not lose your pol account user id and password that comes with the game....
losing it and not having any id or password is bad specially if you are importer like me.

What i suggest to you is find a good friend that can speak japanese well. Be it real life friend or in game friend but make sure you know him real well and he is really trust worthy.
then get him to contact jp pol or jp square etc.

i dont know is there any password crack to crack pol file but i do know there are such thing legal or illegal to crack or get your password from some program like zip file password or dial up internet account. pol security i believe is way better then those so it may not have an easy way to do it.

When I changed my POL password I had my japanese friend helped. From what I heard, they will ask all information you used when registered not just credit #. I don't know really how possible it is to get your password back with credit card number alone.
