Minimum Limbus Requirements

I was wondering if there is a minimum requirement for the number of people needed to enter a limbus area, like the 3 person minimum for assault?. Wiki doesn't mention one so I am assuming no but thought I would ask just in case.

My friends Limbus LS is just starting up (i.e we don't have 18+ people yet) and he wants to get some low man farming runs going.

I remember hearing waaaay back when about some BLMs managing to go in and farm solo, and actually make enough money in coins to profit. Not sure if that's still the case, since gil prices have changed so much, and I haven't heard anything of it.

Some skillful BLMs/NINs also solo Limbus for coins/items.

It's entirely doable. Granted, it still costs 30k apiece and there's a really good probability that you'll never actually see the top floor of whatever zone you pick, but it's doable. I'm thinking of taking my LS on one of these.... well the few of us that have Limbus anyway. Farming coins and the like could be fun.

It's still going on right now.

I duo NW limbus with another black mage friend. We kill just about everything except for Aspi and make out with about 45 coins per run. Very nice way of making monies.

Does Limbus' difficulty scale according to # of players?

Generally you'll want 6 people minimum if you can, max is 18. If you can manage just fine with 3, that's a hell of a lot of coins per person.

I generally find NW to be a lot easier just me and my friend duoing. It's a lot easier to coordinate nukes between me and one other person on vent than it is with 6 people.

I remember doing faffy with my old linkshell, boy was that interesting. T.T I duo him a lot better than I ever did in the linkshell, but maybe it's different for other people and normal party setups.

My brother solo farms limbus as nin/thf. He usually does pretty well, getting around 6-10 coins before he encounters the wrong mob... got his boxer's mantle that way XD
