Getting to Jeuno
I'm in West Sarutabaruta and I want to get to Jeuno because I hear that's a good place to Auction and whatnot. But how do I get there the fastest from West. Saru.?

Run. BTW if your job levels are correct, I wouldn't go yet if I were you. But if you really want to:

East Sarutabaruta > Tahrongi Canyon > Meriphataud Mountains > Sauromugue Champaign > Port Jeuno

I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

Re: Getting to Jeuno
from west saruta your going to want to go E. Sarut>>Tahrongi Canyon>>Meriphatuaud(sp) Mountains>>Saramongue champaign(sp)>>Port Jeuno!!

*Note* this trip can take a while and is fairly dangerous depending on your job level, if you can afford it bring some silent oils and prism powders, they arnt needed but they can make life a lot easier. Or find a higher level to walk you there. Good luck^^

Re: Getting to Jeuno
If you just need to be in Jeuno for selling things and the price of an extra character isn't going to be a problem for you, you might find it easier to make a mule and move that to Jeuno and when you want to sell things, send them to your mule via the delivery system. That way you don't have to make that trip every time you want to sell something (it's very tricky at low level and before you get your chocobo license)

If you are going to do it, make sure you buy a map of Jeuno before you go and it helps to know that some of the mobs in Sauromugue Champaign are sound aggro so you can't run close behind them without aggroing like you can with a sight aggro mob.

Re: Getting to Jeuno
Traveling to Jeuno can very dangerous. I am lvl 25 as a whm and I still see "Incrediably tough" monsters in the surrounding regions around Jeuno. Although not a lot. Really, there isn't much reason to go to Jeuno until lvl 20, because that's when you can get your Chocobo License (you can only get it in Jeuno). But the route mentioned above is probably the safest. I would not recommend going through Pashhow or Jugner Forest at low level.

It is best not to go alone. I'm not sure if there are any outpost guards for that route. And if there aren't you won't be able to set your home point half way through. So if you get in trouble and die, either hope for someone passing by to raise you or start over. It is a good idea to have a higher level player walk you to Jeuno.
