Quick question concerning Buburimu...

So last night a 75 WHM ls-mate and me were in Buburimu, killing Poison Leaches so I could get my Carbuncle Ruby and unlock Summoner, and we came across a ??? on the beach. I clicked on it and it said something like "there's a shipwreck here, return pieces of the shipwreck to the ocean to appease the spirits of the dead, blah blah". He'd never heard of this quest; I didn't notice any new quests or anything in my log, and nothing that dropped from the mobs in the area (we were killing leaches mainly, but took on some bogy's so we could SC+MB on them for fun) seemed to be related to that.

So anyways, what's the deal? I searched ffxiclopedia but didn't see anything under the zone article or any of the quests attached to Buburimu, and I'm just curious what needs to be done here, and if there's a worthwhile reward for doing it.

The ??? on the beaches in Buburumbi and Valkurm are for the Pirate's and Brigand's Chart quests which you get from inside the belly quest in Selbina.
