So what places have you seen mention of that are "off the map?" Of course, there's the Far East, and the Far West, but really those places are just entirely too generic. Tsahya - Mithran homeland in the far south. Garhada - an island in the south where they apparently have a lot of teak. |

My fishing rod's description says it "appears in far eastern mythology." I wish it can lead me to more quest, exclusive to my rod : /

Lu Shang's Fishing Rod comes from an ancient Chinese myth about a fisherman who caught a dragon with his fishing rod. Ebisu is the name of a Japanese god of the oceans and fishing (I believe it's one of the Shinto kami). Pre-post-EDIT: Yes, Ebisu is one of the kami http://www2.kokugakuin.ac.jp/ijcc/wp/bts/bts_e.html Quote:

Well, to the North we have: "The Orcish Empire" and "The Gigas Home Islands". Neither of those really sounds like a great place to visit, or a proper name for the place, for that matter. "Hey, welcome to The Gigas Home Islands! Here's your complimentary loincloth and holey socks. Try not to freeze now!" |
