My Mood: | Re: which city to choose
yeah the tele tarus are nice but sometimes i forget about them or am split in the middle of them and where i want to be so that either walking straight there or walking to warp taru will make no difference. or just that the nearest warp taru doesnt warp to where i need to be. But yeah also the placement of the MH are kinda oddly placed

| Re: which city to choose
The first time I played I was playing around with different jobs/races/cities and when I tried Windurst. I could not find the exit to that city! I honestly don't know how but I was like I guess circling the city for probably over an hour lol. I eventually just quit and made a new character. XD But the thing is, although I had a terrible time as it was happening, that is now a cherrished memory of mine. I love being a newb. I love not knowing which way to go. I love new experiences. I'm not going to tell you which to choose but IMO, Windurst is the most beautiful but also the hardest to navigate through. Bastok is vice versa; the ugliest but easiest to navigate. And San d'Oria is a mix of the two. I had 3 characters total, only had one at a time. My Hume(1st char) was from Bastok, Elvaan from Sandy, and Mithra from Windy. If I get back into the game I plan on being a Hume in Sandy(for CP equipment mainly). And just a tip, the game can be overwhelming but don't let that stop you from just relaxing, doing some quests, chatting with people and/or helping out a friend. Those can be the funnest times you have in the game. Unfortunately, I learned that near the end of moi playtime. So basically don't try to beat the game, you can't. ;p Just take your time and the experience should be 10x better than rushing through. Last edited by Futan; 10-16-2006 at 11:48 PM. |
