Anything Used By This Tree?

I was out hunting rarabs in West Saruta yesterday (searching for a torn epistle to go with my metorite for the Star Struck quest in Windy Walls) and came by a large tree called the "Twinkle Tree" atop Starfall Hillock.
Now, I have been through West Saruta a number of times already, but yesterday was the first time I'd actually seen this particular tree, thinking there was something special about it.
Now please forgive me if this is something I am supposed to have looked up on, but I can only think of the name "Twinkle Tree" to conduct a search and that isn't going to get me very far at all.
Anyway, what I would like to know is.... is there anything special about this particular tree, for e.g. a quest or something? When I click it, a message comes up saying something along the lines of...... "there is nothing out of the ordinary to see here" I presume it is reffering to the tree, but I'm unsure.
There must be something needed to activate it.
Does anyone know anything about this and could tell me please?

Okay, so this is a quest for a fish scale shield as a reward.
Now that I know, I don't think I'll bother doing the quest since I already own that shield. Though I suppose the only good thing that comes out of this quest is that you may also be rewarded with a few fame points, of which I can get from doing other quests instead.

It's also closely related to the "Tinkle Tree" which is the one you see mages running behind after drinking to many refresh juices

True, but you might as well just do it for the sake of completion. It won't take much of your time.

You could always sell your second shield to make a little gil ... I know when I was first starting out (way back when!) I used to do quests throughout Sandy just to make myself some gil. I had max fame in just a few months from all the rabbit hides and bat wings I turned in.
