Ok, Ive been playing since NA release and its CONSTANTLY BUGGED THE HELL OUTTA ME. WTF are the Green Map Markers. I know tht it gets used the ONE time in the start when you get you Adventurers Coupon but after that its just kind of a waste of space. SE's Q&A has proven to be as useless as ever providing an anser to this enigma. Ive asked many In-Game and on various forums up to this point to solve the mystery. . .all have come short of expectations to say the least(Especially when I get the reply "What green Markers") But seriously what are they, how are they used if at all, why are they there. Im going nutz  just trying to figure them out. Hep

Lol, I wish those markers gave me gil. . .I mean they should have a function right, there NO WAY SE would possibly make something that served no function or didnt work right lol

What Ika said. Also look into Doll Gizmo. However, there are a few other quests that use them, such as even more gullibles travels.

Ummm... green ones are really useful! In Ordelles Caves when I did a big RSE hunt, I marked down the locations of all of the chests using the green markers. It's the RED ones you can't just use to mark stuff on the map.

I've only ever seen the green markers used once, and Vaigrant mentioned that one already. It'd be nice if we could at least use those markers to mark points on our maps like we could the redish purple ones.

Cactuar Needles, Sky Telepads, Map Markers, THF I think SE just associates Green with uselessness. In seriousness, I beleive they said that the "Green map markers were a good idea, but" they "Never really got around to using it". |

If I remember correctly, they also get used in the RoZ area "Beastmen's Treasure" quests. Pretty sure the one in Yhoator Jungle I did had a green marker. I suspect they're reserved for quest markers, but they get taken advantage of so rarely it makes you wonder if SE even considered them when they started making new quests. There are a lot of quests where an NPC tells you exactly where to go, but when you open the map you get nothing.
