Yeah, I figured it was a fluke. This was off of Rivulet Sahagins by the way. Of course, it figures that I only have luck when it comes to farming for somebody else. Try to get a Gothic Gauntlets on my own and 4 hours later, nada.

Me and a RDM friend pretty much wiped out every last Rivulet Sagahin in SSG and probably killed much more than 20. I dread to think what the other scrolls are like.

Just got Auspice. Here are some findings: I'm not sure if Wuu the Sandcomber will drop it. Killed him on the way and he just dropped the standard stuff. I went 1-25 on it without TH so I'm assuming the drop rate is something around 20-30% so it's fairly rare. With haste gear the damage is awesome and it now makes WHM/DNC feasible. You don't need Misery up prior to casting the spell to get En-Light. You can be in Solstice or nothing, use Auspice and then go into Misery and still get your En-light. Not sure if you still get the +acc bonus when you miss though but it's useful to know if you need to suddenly switch to Solstice. En-Light on Lightday seems to be doing about 15-20 per hit so it's about level with regular tier 1 en-spells. It seems fairly easy to interrupt. I have capped enhancing magic and I got it interrupted after a hit numerous times. The spell animations when cast in and out of Misery are different so you can tell if you're getting the buffed up version or not. It stacks with Light Arts and Penury and has an incredibally fast casting time It doesn't appear to effect the damage for any weaponskills The subtile blow effect seems to be around 10% and it seems to stack with the subtile Blow effect from the NINs, MNKs and Monk's Roll It lasts for 3 minutes exactly.

I personally just bought all the spells...CoP Friday and need it naaao >( I played with a couple of them...and even with Misery on i have not seen any of my friends receive the En-Light bonus outside of me on Auspice...feels like its just me experiencing this though since everyone else hasnt reported that problem... The Banish damage upgrade was not that spectacular to me. I took a 400 Damage Waterga III from a Haunt in Kuftal (half my life) and i only did 100 extra damage...and since it only works with the latest hit to your face...it was meh. I do need to try out that Holy though, that seems hot. Cura seems to be capped at around 180-190 hp healed. Cheaper than a Curaga...but again this needs me to be in Misery to be useful, so to me it feels like i need it up in anticipation. I dont know, BG says Misery is so good or something, personally i dont see it yet outside of the Solace Sacrifice => Misery Esuna combo and Auspice useage. Maybe i am just not doing it right yet. fffffffff..!!! Damnit...and i thought i could be clever with it too...

I don't really like Cura. It seems to take longer to cast than Curaga and it did less than a Curaga II with Misery active. I was hoping it would be a quick spell, like Barfira, but it wasn't.

I found that Esuna (2/4) and Sacrifice (1/1) dropped very, very quickly without TH. Lagoon Sahagin are practically crapping out Esuna scrolls. I got one for myself and another dropped that I sent to a WHM friend. Can't say the same thing about Cura scrolls though. Wiki's guess at 17% is probably about right. ---------- Post added at 06:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:11 AM ---------- Additionally. I'm not entirely sure if magical damage counts towards the damage that powers up Misery abilities. I was hit by Flood from a water elemental and had no additional damage whatsoever added onto my Banish III (and it was in lightday). Can someone test this?

I seriously couldn't be bothered to farm them, what with camps and other stuff I have to be at. I wanted to have them right away so I just bought them. SE took a lot of money from WHMs the past few days.

SSG was just completely insane today. It was packed with WHMs and THFs basically killing everything that moved without caring about links or aggro. I saw one person with at least 5 high level Sahagins chasing after him because he saw the one unclaimed lagoon in the zone. I think Charybdis is having a field day getting revenge on the Sahagins that taunted him for being constantly hunted and killed by the RDMs, PLDs and CORs of Vanadiel.

So Cura sucks then? According to BG Esuna is OK with Misery, and Sacrifice is pretty nice @ 3 debuffs taken away for 18 MP with Misery. |

Cura probably sucks at 75 but...isn't it a Level 40 spell?

The enmity might be better for using Cura than Curaga at 40, that's a good point you bring up. It does suck at 75 though. And with or without misery active, Esuna is pretty nice with it's relatively quick recast. (25 seconds w/o any haste > 10 minutes, that's for damn sure).
