personally i found using the p1-5 to be simplest when i first started. then again i did not know you could simply hit the F1-F6 key to choose which party member then hit your macro with just <t> in it. once i found out that you could do that i switched and that seemed to work best for me. never tried <stpc> so not sure about this one.

now that there is a full book you can devote to whm only macros i'd maybe rethink that. might be interesting to have a set up that uses your fist 6 macro spots for p1-5 and a <me>, for each different cure lvl.

i did the above when i had limited space to work with from all my other jobs macros taking up lots of space...

doesn't it figure? we should have known the devil is a female... it seems so obvious now

I have 2 sets of macros for my 75 whm. One is a party set because it's slightly different than doing endgame things. Of course, the second set is for endgame events. One macro that is in both sets is my MP macro.

/p MP = <mpp> - <mp> {Please check it!}
/wait 1
/p <me> {Healing!} <call11>

People just do not pay attention to your mp status, I only use it when my mp is low but it does help. For some endgame events I need to switch it to /l though because of multiple alliances. If the puller is in the other ally and asks how mp is in ls, its good to be able to quickly post it there.

Re: Macros
I just type messages like that out. MP <mpp> or whatever. When necessary. Which is, thankfully, rarely.

Re: Macros
Mine is

/p {> {White Mage} <} {> {notice} <} {> <mpp> <mp> <}

It's pretty and it gets the point across. This is use when I have like 40 mp left. And TGM's right, people don't pay enough attention to the WHM's MP. Put a call in it if people are being stupid. People hate call macros, but at least it'll get their attention and they'll stop freaking pulling!

Re: Macros
I HATE calls...well the annoying ones at least. I usually use <call11> or <call10> for my macros. I probably should use a more annoying macro to get people's attention better.

Re: Macros
I hate calls too, but sometimes they're necessary when people are idiots.
