Holy crap I can not seem to get a pty to save my life, and not for the fact that I am a bad WHM.... Far from it. Just that no one lvling at lvl 33, at least not all this week that is for sure. (I know because I'm one of em!) That could explain some of the trouble you're having when seeking.
One idea I'd recommend to anyone wishing to level a new job these days is to make a static and stick to it. Thanked 292x in 148 Posts Gil: 37,290 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 37,290 Donate | Re: Is it just me But a party with a SCH can still use a WHM, especially in that level range (where CN is a popular spot; you can go there at 33, too, if you hunt the slightly lower level crawlers in the entrance tunnels first, then move to the pit at 35ish). It allows the SCH to stay in Dark Arts, keeping Addendum:Black open for sleep and dispel access, both very useful against crawlers, and on top of that the WHM has erase and reraise, which SCH don't have yet.
In any case, with emperor band, 33-37 is two good parties, so don't give up, your luck will change. Or if you see a tank, you can form your own party.
