I haven't been able to play since January for financial reasons, but my return is coming soon, and I decided I'm going to settle down and get my WHM some levelling.

My question is have the life of a White Mage (particularly in the low 40s) changed in the past few months. I've heard there were some big updates, and was wanting a heads up of anything new I'd need to keep my eye on.

Also, if anyone from Siren sees this, how is the 40s scene looking right now? Slow? In need of healers?

No huge differences, just some new (and neat) equipment.

First you'd wanna check out getting a Qiqirn Sash/+1 by level 40. They're probably the best thing you can wear till you get a Heirarch belt at 71.

Second is the slightly more expensive Beak Necklace at 50, which is also tremendously useful.

As far as gameplay mechanics themselves, nothing has really changed pre-50. Just cure your PT up, make sure people don't die, and enjoy yourself
