Re: Hey! new White Mage/Player
Well the best advice is to learn how to access readily available knowledge on your own. There isn't always someone to answer your questions on various things, and it doesn't hurt to do a bit of leg work to progress. I feel that researching many things in this game gives you a better grasp and makes you an overall better player.

My personal favorite site is http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Main_Page
They have a lot of good information available to you.

Other sites to research are:

Mystery Tour: http://mysterytour.web.infoseek.co.jp/ffxi/us/
Vanadiel Atlas: http://www.ffxi-atlas.com/
New Players Guide: http://www.playonline.com/ff11newpla...x.html?lang=en
SomePage: http://ffxi.somepage.com/

Most times when asking questions and such (especially on forums and in the game) people will expect you to have the most basic knowledge of the quest/mission/item et cetera that is available. Then questions about things in the game are generally about tweaking gear setups, strategies for quest/missions and the like.

Welcome to FFXIonline, and don't mind Mog. Mog just likes to be the first one to resond (Mog beat me to it ; ; ) The stickies under the whm forums do have lots of good info as well. Good luck and enjoy.

Re: Hey! new White Mage/Player
what is a kool tup?

in all seriousness, check out the FFXIclopedia Necropolis posted. if you can apply a quarter of what you read there, you'll be better off than 50% of the players
