So I was looking at this ring and some info on it. It seems really nice, i mean - extra 10% cure potency right? That sure beats an electrum ring over the course of a few cures. Now, I take it (but I'm not positive) that the requirements for that ability to trigger are as simple as yellow hp. ... Eew, yuck. Getting to yellow hp wouldn't be that bad (just over cure enough to get hit once or twice). However, with autoregen keeping it there doesn't seem easy or practical. I'm sure a lot of you are much better then me at figureing this sort of stuff out though. Is there any method that would be practical for this, or would i be better just sticking to my astral/electrum combo? Also, unrelated question. Ocean stone. That's a pretty nice looking belt piece with the +30 mp and all. Certainly beats my oracle's belt. 1.5 million is a bit much though - especially with the other stuff i'm saveing up for. Is there anyway to get this from an nm/quest/something else?

Yes, you need to have yellow HP to trigger that effect. I have heard this is most useful for batteling Maat. Havent heard about its use outside of that. except maybe in a special macro if shit is hitting the fan The ocean stone is a BCNM drop, but I am unsure which one. |

I tried really, really hard to find an equip switch set that would let me bump from full to yellow just by changing gear, but even as a Taru that's difficult without forcing my base HPs dangerously low. Bottom line, it's not worth trying to trigger deliberately. It's great against Maat, since you KNOW you're going to get hit there. Everywhere else, you shouldn't be taking any damage if you know what you're doing. Icemage |

There is a level 50 Burning Circle Notorious fight call Hostile Herbivores Holaris Peak Level 50 30 Minutes 6 People The fight will have a sheep or two don't know excatly never done it I am going to try it out as my Bard with my linkshell one day for my Forest Stone. If you plan on getting your Ocean Stone that's the BCNM you will need. If you have a linkshell ask them to help you and be sure to collect at least 50 Beastmen's Seals for it. If not then you might have to ask a bunch of strangers as long as you get your stone. |

Hmm.. if that's the BCNM I'm thinking of, that fight is pretty tough, and bringing strangers to that battle is asking to lose. It is 3 NM Fighting Sheep. Immune to Sleep. They pack a huge wallop, if you let them Berserk, get ready to take several hundred points of damage if they use their WS (Lamb Chop? Sheep Charge? Something like that...). Most winning strategies involve kiting 2 of the sheep with Red Mages or holding them with Ninjas while the rest of the party kills one, then ganging up on the others. Icemage |

the second part is correct, so blow any ws you've got before curing if you want the effect.

the ring to me sounds like something a rdm would switch to after convert. or something a pld would switch to to give his cure some more potencys, an thus giving him more hate. pld or rdm this ring best suits. well that is unless its a whm only ring. then it sounds worthless,

That does seem like a worthless ring. Maybe there's a crafting ability (That miraculously no one has found yet) that lets you knock that effect to a normal instead of Latent >.> If that is so then it would be a great item. Use it with Light Staff get a +20% Cure Potency |

i can see it now, whm goes to yellow, ring kicks in, they cure for alot of health pisses the mob off witch kills the whm. maybe putting it on after an aoe spell, or bomb toss is the only real good time for it.
