Teleport-Vahzl
I'm looking for some information on this quest. I recieved the quest "Sorcery of the North" so I'm all set to do the quest. However, it seems pretty downright dangerous. What I'd like to know is:

A. What level is this useful? Altep seems rather dangerous to me already, and since Sneak doesn't transfer zone to zone I fear teleporting...

B. What level is this spell attainable? I know I can cast it at 42, but it sounds like I have to kill some pretty nasty creatures. Do I need a full party to pull this off?

C. Does anyone have some clear cut information on the actual quest? I've hit the sites, and I know that getting a map is going to be difficult, there's something I need to kill, (but no one seems to agree on what) and the key that the monster drops is for a coffer somewhere in the zone. I'm willing to fly blind here, but if anyone has some info and wants to share, I'd be grateful.

Thanks in advance.

>> Edited to include the correct information from Alakhazam

A) I guess this spell is only useful if you (or a paying customer) needs to teleport to Vahzl.

B) See below.

3) Courtisy of Alakhazam webiste we have the following information

San d'Oria : Teleport Vahzl

Realm: San d'Oria
Start Area: San d'Oria North
Start NPC: Eperdur (L - 7)
Type: Spell
Related Areas: Fei'yin
Min Level: 1
Max Level: 75
Rating: 5.00
Items Required: Northern Ruins Treasure Chest Key
Items Granted: Scroll: Teleport Vahzl

After talking to Eperdur, head to Fei'yin to the circle rooms (J-8,9,10). Kill the shadows until you get a Northern Ruins Treasure Chest Key. You then have to find the chest. It seems to spawn randomly somewhere in Fei'yin. Open the chest and you get the Lost Magic Tome. Bring that back to Eperdur and he will reward you with a teleport-vas scroll.

So you just need to open a chest? or is it a special key?
I'm asking this becuase if it's a normal key/chest I could open it with my THF and skip killing the mob..

Yes it is just a regular treasure chest.
TC in fei'yin is *really* hard to get because there are usually a couple 75 thf running around camping chests because they contain lifebelt(rare) or they are killing shadows also waiting for the NM ones to pop because one of them drops MNK cross counters that sell for 1.5million gil XD

A) Vahzl teleport isnt really needed until your 50s when you do Genkai2 limit quest. If you do play teleport taxi for gil, people do pay more for a teleport there...

B) You need a full party mid 45+ at a minimum to kill the shadows that can drop key, 3 to a room and their dimensional death move is pretty mean. The run to fei'yin is pretty long and there is plenty of stuff along the way that will pick a fight with you if you aren't sneaking or using invis.

I was 50 when I got around to doing it and duo'd with a 66drg in my LS that was doing the quest too. People only go there for vahzl quest, kill shiva or farm TC's

Here is a link to a TC map for Fei'yin - all the TC's are on the 1st floor *but* the ones in the top left corner (f-7, f-8 and g-7) require you to go downstairs and take a staircase back up to that corner of the map (hooray for one way drop off ledges XD

If you check all the other spots on the map then its likely the TC is at one of those 3 spots in the top left. Golems downstairs (colossus i think was the name) require invis to get by, everything else only needs sneak.
Dark elementals, Pots and Dolls aggro on magic but otherwise leave you alone. Bring silent oils just in case your sneak wears off and you are stuck standing next to magic pots but there are are bats covering all exits so you cant get a safe spot to recast sneak spell lol.

Fei'yin is a really cool place, its a shame its so out of the way and noone goes there to xp.
