Tired of Silk? A new solution in the 50s.

Alright... so everyone seems to get frustrated with Silk and Green Ribbons. Well I've been quickly leveling my cloth and when I hit this I really didn't wanna lose that much gil so I did some research (something it seems so few crafters do themselves).

Now this works well on my server but I can't be sure prices are the same everywhere.

52-53 Silk Cloth (the standard)

53-55 Karakul Thread

If you have access to a decent amount of Karakul Wool (rare on our AHs) or have 14ish Leather and have access to skins you can make Karakul Thread.

53-57 Karakul Cloth

If you don't have access to a decent amount of wool then go with Karakul Cloth the whole way. Buy Karakul Thread stacks (240k on my server) and makes Karakul Cloth (60k each).


This is break even when you don't have any breaks and definitely blows Ribbons through this entier section.

That's implied by the fact that it's not July yet.

Actually this is still viable, at least on my server. The threads are only 160k a stack, but cloths are 40 so it still works out as break even.
