Ok this may not produse alot of money but its very nice for starting out, best done in windy and varys from server to server, prices were taken from tonight.
Buy 4 grass thread stacks from the guild (2400/stack)
Buy earth crystals from AH (3000-6000/stack)
Grass thread(3)+earth=grass cloth which sells for 20k a stack at the AH.
20k-08k=~12k profit. (est.) (the math is crapy i know but its around the mark)
hehe good luck buying said grass thread from the guild i know i can never...course i dont camp the guild either. However on that note, you can (if you are killing them anyway) use the wind crystals that the Yagudo drop to cut up their necklaces (will cap clothcraft at 7 i believe) which nets you 3 grass thread >>> grass cloth (if you choose to lvl clothcrafting you can even HQ2 these for 12 thread )
The problem is that whoever needs grass cloth, makes their own and you probably will be lucky to sell any.
Though... there are people who are lazy or they just want the cloth asap, so they are willing to buy it, yea theyre pretty stupid, but it's also true that in the real world, real profit comes from fooling people and taking advantage of lazy people, ingame i'd say those are the people who buy gil, blah :p i digress, continue the discussion :p
farming 12 grass cloth (36 grass thread + wind and earth crystals) will take way too long for me. they cost what, 8k? AH and 3k guild?
i can make 8k in 2 minutes crafting..
i`m glad there are people making linen cloth, making grass cloth and they should get reward for their work.
the time i would spend compared the time i need to gain the gil for the cloth is much higher. so i buy them.
iono.... going to giddeous and getting yag necklaces.... can hq one stack of thread per necklace.... I can get like 4-5 stacks of cloth in an hour if not more.... and they always sell really fast on AH so I just go that route (plus can farm beehive chips in giddeous at the same time and make wax which sells for a TON). Never any grass threads/cloth up at the guild and super expensive there also.
