Just want to say thanks for taking the time to post these tips. I know Mysterytour and others have the raw facts laid out but you give some nice insight to it all. Thanks to this guide i've hit skill 38 in about 4 days time. (working damn hard for those flipping glasses XD ) but yeah i do have one question. On the Clothcraft 34-52 portion of your post are you recomending the Insect Fletchings recipe for skills 38 through 45? Just want to make sure i'm reading this right.

Wow...i havent seen Noda in a while, you helped me get my Sam over a year ago, then never saw you around lol. Anyway, as far as skill for 38-45, you have 2 choices....bird fletchlings till 42 or Velvet cloth to 45. Bird fletchlings dont sell well on rag although its is very small amount of loss for a nice bit of skill, it is still a loss. Velvet however, sells rather well and you get a little more mileage plus the option to keep your velvet and use for later date.

Max clothes KA ever dropped for me was 3 and it's hard winning pull when the best ls in the server keep camping it until the game won't exist no more.. I'm sure it can drop up to 4.

Yes.

Clothcrafting is starting to kill me. It seems that whenever I want to go to giddeus to train things, there are like 50 noobs and 80 other people training everything in the damn place. And then, in 3 hours, I finally got about 14 stacks of grass thread, make it into cloth, and burn it all on Kenpogi which fail 2 in 3 times and get a whole .4. On light day, nonetheless. Yay. -_-

Hmm i'm skill 38 now and i've been trying the insect fletching recipe. In-fact i've tried it a little over 24 times only to receive 0 skill from it. I'm not upset or anything but just wondering if i should do somthing else before this recipe.

I don't quite remember what i did from 38 upwards, but i can just say that the insect fletchling numbers on most threads is pure and utter bullshit. They didn't start succeeding more than 40% of the time before lvl 45... they got me up to 50 rather easy but before 45 it's a waste of money to even try them.

Actually I just did the jump from 42-52 last night and I was doing Insect fletchings the whole time.... I only succeded 3-4 per 10, but you it's still cheaper and easier to farm than anything else for a skill up. I jumped the 10 levels in about 2 hours of straight crafting. Also I did notice a drop in skill up points once hit 46-47 but they still came in pretty steady. It's frustrating, but it beats the alternatives unless you just have money to blow. :mad:

I'm more than willing to fail as long as it just skills me. So any good recomendations for skill 38 to be using?

I stuck with bird flecthings until I hit lvl 42 then I switched over to insect. It's pretty cheap and very easy to farm so it's not that hard. After 52 though I have noticed that I am hitting a very large gil wall. Good luck to 52 though.

yeah, once insect fletching started slowing down, i moved over to silk thread/cloth, that picked up fairly well, however, i made the mistake of selling my silk cloth, so i'm at the same gil wall, oh well, guess i'm off to farming silk threads for cloth

Bah, Im stuck at 51 an get the jump to 53..... and i cant mass craft silk cloth cause i dont have much to tie up in silk cloth.

I heard desynthizing black capes and white capes give skill ups at 51 and are good to level and money income at the level does anyone if this true ?

SO far only ways to make money i discovered was desynthizing suit of goblin armor... id like to try desynthizing : yagudo socks, tonberry coat, does anyone have any information if at lvl 51 thats enolugh skill to desynth those ?
