I sold Jester's Headbands to vendor. Wasn't worth keeping them all at the AH. The Devottee's Mitts, on the other hand, would be better to keep on the AH.

cotton cloth does drop off goblin weavers, and no, you can't desynth cotton thread into balls, best bet is to go farm them up with a thf in canyon

Currently 67 atm, is there a ballpark figure on how much more money it would take to get to lvl 100, or is it totally random

I started at 82.0+1 on the hakamas, with support hardly fail at all, I think you could start at 80, expect to fail quite a bit tho. I did devotee Mitts till 82.

I think 81 is the best time to start them. Plus you can synth Jesters Headbands and Devotees Mitts to get to 81. After 81, you can't use Jesters anymore.

But to keep this on topic, I started Rainbow Threads at 72, and it was nice skill ups. Took me 2 stacks of threads to get to lvl 73, and I only had 1 failure in each stack. Excellent.

I'm looking at Jester Capes till 74 here:

Clothcraft (74)
Leathercraft (30)
Yield: 1

* Earth Crystal
* Silk Thread x1
* Silk Cloth x2
* Sheep Leather x2

on my server, the materials for 12 synths are an AH value of:

Earth Crystalsx12 (500) + Silk Threadx12 (10k) + Silk Cloth x24 (76k) + Sheep Leather x24 (~24k) = ~110k

But if you make your own materials, this cost can be cut down to around 82k per 12.

Because they sell at 4k each, it would require a lot of AH space (not a problem for me, I don't know about you) and also, I don't know yet how much they NPC for. I'm guessing not much.

So, if you sell them 4k a pop that's a total loss of ~34k per 12 synths, or 2.8k a synth.

That sounds pretty crappy, but... providing you have 60 leathercraft, would you be likely to HQ a couple of these while skilling up? The other day on blk. choco fletchings, I HQ'ed 3 times at skill 70 on random days.

I know multi-guild items are harder to HQ, but even just 1 would make up for the skillup cost on this item.

just food for thought, I haven't decided what i'm doing 72+ quite yet before moving onto rainbow stuff.

That is silly because you will eventually need to use your rainbow thread at 90+. That recipe is too much trouble, whereas with rainbow thread you can actually gain a profit if you sell your stacks.

6k on average on Fairy. And yes, many weavers are buying out Webs at the moment ; ;

I've had to slow down on crafting due to lack of ingredients atm
