I did a /sea of the area and saw something odd.
75WAR
No subjob.
Not a /whm01
just no /job.
The best part?
He was running around completely dominating anyone he 1 on 1'ed. He would have to back up if they started ganging up on him. But solo, with no support job, he was wiping the field with people.
Anyone else seen something crazy like this? | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-06-2006, 02:09 PM | #2 (permalink) | | KageH4Xu Join Date: Jan 2004 Posts: 846 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 0 Thanked 6x in 4 Posts Gil: 46,763 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 46,763 Donate | Re: War/Nothing I've heard of people taking RDM to 75 just to prove they could, but a WAR? transform a yellow spot into the sun.

I imagine lag is a factor so you might try it in lower jeuno. - | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-06-2006, 02:22 PM | #7 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Texas, USA Posts: 24 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 634 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 634 Donate | Re: War/Nothing select your mainjob then instently set your subjob to the same job but it takes forever to get it right | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-06-2006, 02:40 PM | #8 (permalink) | | KageH4Xu Join Date: Jan 2004 Posts: 846 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 0 Thanked 6x in 4 Posts Gil: 46,763 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 46,763 Donate | Re: War/Nothing Hahahaha I can't wait to try that. I tried it for 10 minutes one time no luck. Tried it again one time and got it on the second try.
Start at like mnk/nin or anything else that doesn't invlove war. Then select war as main job and immediately select subjob as war (war is at the top of list, making it faster and more likely to work). It might be vice versa at setting sub job before main job. But its one of the two, screw around with it some and it should work.
Btw, people who take a job to 75 w/o a subjob should be shot for being selfish. Followed by the morons who still invite them. I RNG 75 I WAR 37 I NIN 38 I SAM 50 I Woodworking 92+2

The faster you go, the more it won't work. It's a method of timing it. If I remember correctly it's about 0.75 sec, plus minus 0.25 secs. Of course most of us can press 3 buttons faster than 1 sec. Don't go so fast, slow down. Then again, I retired 12/1/04, I would love to play FFXI again, but in the slight chance of screwing up in college again, I'll pass. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -8.
