At lvl 71 we get Steel Cyclone on Great Axe skill and it can end darkness with 700 dmg + 900 darkness with Sneak+Trick. But you rarely see ppl make darkness.

Nope but you can do Spining slash "sneak trick pld" > Steel cyclone "sneak trick drk" for distortion
Probably 800 sping > 750 steel cyclone > distortion 400

i think a versetile war will get all kinds of sub and use it depending on the party setting.

the only purpose for subbing sam is the constant spam of breaks, moderate dmg, crippling the monsters, other melees will have a better time hitting em, but in change you'll get alot of hate.

nin subs are good for pullings/trick partners/dual wiedling axes/moderate tp gain/moderate dmg

thf subs are good for burst dmg, these war usually dont use breaks.

mnk subs.. i donno.. it's not that useful pass 40, you can easily loss aggro and wont be able to tank well imo.

PS: SA+TA+SE is the ultimate powa, no other class can outdamage it, not even my monk against skeletons (1000 spinning slash + 1000 light + 1400 bursts are scary)

That is strange because I heard meany people use MNK sub all the way through 75 with Provoke+Warcry+Boost+Double ATK+Counter (when Tanking) for holding aggro. I heard that Aggressor+Focus is an awesome permanent (to an extent) ACC boost which any Melee class could use, the Max HP boosts, MNK just seems to be the best sub,no?

MNK sub is great, don't listen to him not sure on it's worth passed 60 however

Monk sub would be great because you get 2 acc skills,I myself havent tried it out but the lower wars tell me its awesome.Anyways just have a standard sub till you hit 70+ cause then you'll have to be WAR/NIN...its really needed,don't waste your time and money on war/nin if your not about lvl 70+.
Im just gonna keep my thf sub cause i do 500-900 dmg depending on tp with sneak trick and ranging rush. Taking passed lvl 60 as war/mnk isnt such i good thing unless its ur only choice.

You just made me angry, i'm a war sam and I must say its very very cool.

we just saw that wars get steel cyclone at lvl 70 +

2.Its not only the meditate, sams will give a tp bonus every time you hit so in the end you will get much faster tp then any other job.

So everyone, don't forget sam it can be really nice

Steel Cyclone with out Sneak+Trick deals 450 dmg and damage Itself is less then Raging Rush.

Meditate ability let you do 2x2 renkei like samurais do, or breaks > meditate > renkei, or 1 more raging rush. What else can you do with meditate? Note : When you get lvl 66+ ppl want Light renkei so you dont have a chance to use Great Axe.

Dual Axe gains faster tp then Great Axe with sam sub.

Meimei is right...SAM sub really isn't that good at all, only job I've ever see abuse it was a RNG who would do Sidewinder>Meditate>Guillotine>Barrage>Sidewinder every 5 minutes for shits and giggles (killed IT's instantly though!)

NIN sub gives blink and dual wield, both are handy.
THF sub gives you a lot of abilities that are quiet useful, and can add to your dmg quiet well.
MNK sub gives lots of nifty bonuses also, I really like this the most.
