Snipers or Stealthers?

I agree with Imato. The way I see things, snipers must have stealth, or else they are just marksmen/sharpshooter.

Well, let me ask you this, how is the stealther supposed to slit the snipers throat if you can't see the sniper from 2 feet away. Hell, you could only be so good at sneaking. You'd make noise no matter what, especially in a jungle. Good luck sneaking up on a sniper in the jungle.

I just rented the game today and I was on the level you get hawk, and I was going through the portal and didn't have stamina and I went through a portal before you go to the landing pad and was ambushed by a ton of things and died because of little health, so I quit for the day, but I'll play tomorrow. Ghost Recon is way better, in that sniper 0\/\//\/Z but everyone is a stealth character, because if you aren't you're screwed to hell.

Stealther!! I mean heck.. lets take planetside for example

If your certified to use a stealth suit and you have a melee booster implant (raises melee damage.. alot.. :p)
You can really scare people :p

See the way it works.. you have your standard knife
BUT if you right click it does something to your knife (depending on your faction)

I played vanu soverignty and their knife glowed right

so I was in a base all invisible and i saw this guy pass by, so I turned on my knife and starting walking torward him lol

Once he turned around and saw the knife i stabbed him twice and stole his gun lol

howabout instead of saying stealther, we say "commandos?" if u think about it, both commandos and snipers use stealth in order to complete their objectives. infiltration experts use it in order to get behind enemy lines undetected while snipers conceal themselves in order to make an effective kill. know what i mean?

but neway, in the spirit of things i voted stealther, because sometimes u have to actually get ur hands dirty to accomplish things. u can't do much to a walled fortification from outside...gotta go solid snake style!
