Certain Affinity is developing the updated Forge, 343 is working on other content. And apparently an HD version of Halo 2 as well.

Mhmm I'm aware of that, and I'm glad they're on board. But they're still technically under 343's approval/direction etc. and glad to see all is going extremely well.
They're basically fixing the few little nuisances that have kept me from really delving into Forge while adding what I feel is the single greatest feature yet - the personal traits zones. Being able to fiddle with things like Health, speed, gravity etc. inside a specific spot on the map is going to allow for so many gametype variations. The dynamic lighting is a very nice touch as well.
