My Mood:  |   S-E Ceases and Desists ChronoTrigger ROM projects
So, going home with Piano Collections CD in hand, and my father mentions in an aside that "Square-Enix did a cease and desist on some fan-made video that was years in the making and a lot of people didn't like that very much." I remember hearing about something like this being in development from LBR's FanFest 2008 episode, but honestly I don't know about all the details. Anybody want to fill in the blanks on this half-a-news-bit?

I remember hearing about this, but I think some of the folks on the LBR side might have more knowledge of it. Still it wouldn't surprise me, as SE did nix that fan-made Chrono sequel. |

Huh. So, as it turns out, it was the Chrono Trigger thing. I blame my father for being really vague and my own mind for wandering so wildly. Mod please change title to something about the Chrono sequel and move this thread to the Video Games section accordingly.

It wasn't a sequel, it was a remake of the original (in 3D). It's a damned shame, it was looking so good.

No, it was a sequel. You're thinking of another fanmade chrono trigger project which was shut down awhile ago.
