Making a list of my favorite games is always difficult, but there are 3 that I can say for sure would be on it, but not necessarily in this order:

Chrono Trigger - without a doubt my favorite game of all time
Secret of Evermore - I love this game to death and still replay it multiple times every year
Monster Hunter Portable 2/2nd G - 300 hours and counting, nothing can cease my addiction


Thinking about it a little more I would have to put Super Metroid on the list as well. One of the few games I would actually say deserves a perfect 10 in every category.

I'd have to think about the last spot for a long time.

Actual order is somewhat debatable, but:

1. River City Ransom(NES)
2. FFXI
3. FFIV(SNES version, US II)
4. FFVII(Cliche, but it was a damn fine game)
5. Mega Man Legends

Obviously several franchises are being narrowly left out, First Person Shooters are mostly lumped together because I enjoyed Halo/Half-Life 2/Resistance very much, but I generally marathon through campaign modes on FPS games then don't touch them again...also it was far too short but I really, really loved Mirror's Edge, but I don't think it was enough to count it on my 'all time' list.

6 Tomb Raider Underworld

A little underwhelming duration-wise and suffering from a couple of animation mishaps and camera weirdness but still such a good times game.

Can't wait to try Prince of Persia now...

Ahh, I was hyped, but the control scheme killed it for me. I tried a demo and spent maybe 2 hours trying to get from 1 ledge to another. Didn't pick up that title.

1) FFXI - No matter how many times I remove the needle from my arm, it always gets inserted a few months later.

2) FFVI - Love how many hidden secrets this game had. I still have not collected everything (I know there are certain items you have to pick one or the other...stupid ragnarok esper or Ultima Sword)

3) Castlevania Symphony of the Night - I got it for my PSP!

4) Baulder Gate 2 - Love the replay ability of it. I am going through it for the 8th time as a PLD.

5) Witchaven - The first FPS I played that you used midieval weapons and hand-to-hand combat. Havent played a game like it until Oblivion and Condemned 2.

I'm so happy to see people list Ogre Battle 64 up there, that is my favorite game of all time for sure!

Mine goes like this

1. Ogre Battle 64

2. Harvest Moon (SNES/64)

3. Final Fantasy X

4. Final Fantasy Tactics(All of them, including Advance)

5. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

I have so many favorite games, Oblivion would be up there, FFXI as well, Persona 4, and then several other FFs, but those have had the biggest impacts on me.

And for some odd reason this thread, of all of them, made me want to play FFXI again, lol. I haven't even wanted to play for months, but have kept up with updates and checked these forums daily, but this makes me want to play, seeing people talk about how XI was their favorite game. It's a weird feeling, but I'm interested enough now to start patching and maybe play tonight. XD
