yeah..... when I had to get a new 360 to get it, I had to trade in my DS and all my games for it (only have 4 but still) and I decided to give up on portables, because I have a hard time with the small screen anyway. Then this game is coming out... and the PSP can hook up to my TV, so the small screen is not an issue -.- was going to get Guitar Hero World Tour... but might get a PSP and this instead.

There's no North American or European release announced yet. It's somewhat likely, but get everyone you know to e-mail Square Enix about it to let them know there's interest for the game outside of Japan.

There is no official release date for the U.S. but it will be released here. The game is hot hot hot in Japan and fighting games and Final Fantasy games do well in the U.S. so its a guaranteed win. I just wonder how f**king long they'll make us wait.

So........playing Dissidia......

This has to be the most beautiful PSP title I've ever played. I don't even feel like I'm playing on a PSP. There are few PSP titles that make me feel like this and just immerse me in them. It just enhances the experience.

Story......well......its in Japanese so I can't tell you anything there. LOL There is a story mode after the Prolouge and you can choose from 1 to 10. Of course, each character that represents that number level is from the FF game of the same number(i.e. Zidane for 9). Each "story" is rated with stars for difficulty.

I've only done the prolouge battles and a few beyond it. The prolouge was probably more of a tutorial but I couldn't read it so I don't know. The battles were easy but fun. The special moves you can do with button combos are sometimes freakin awesome. LOL I wish I actually knew wth I was doing! You can get chests with equips in them. And some of the music is old school FF! Like when a battle is won and such! Just a nice touch I thought.

Even though its not in English, I am enjoying it. I will probably stop playing it now though because I'd rather wait until the English version and follow the story and such. It will be hard to stop though because I am throughly enjoying it even though I understand very little of it!

LOL Lilith I really enjoyed it but, like I said, I didn't play much into it and didn't understand a word of it. If you can read Japanese, go for it man!

Yep I'd say they are both right up there. Remember though I've only played a few battles past the prolouge so I have only scratched the surface. The area they are in heaven-like and that differs greatly from CC's more realistic settings. Of course with 10 different stories, there are a lot of cutscenes I haven't seen. Even the battle effects are pretty though. LOL
