This is pretty cool! But yeah I have to agree with BBQ in that it's getting beyond aggravating to buy a new PSP/DS and then have a new and much better model come out the next year.

So unless Sony or Nintendo come up with a promotion to trade in your old systems to get the new ones at a large (50% or higher) discount (very unlikely) count me out for now.

Actually I think some kind of trade in for a limited time would garner them some respect. Good point Mal. I also think its highly unlikely but one can dream. LOL

I rather LIKE my black/crimson DS Lite, I like my silver DS too, but the black/crimson might be my favorite.

I like having the GBA slot, but I rarely use it anymore, so while I'm sorry to see it go, I don't really mind either. The SD card slot makes for some interesting possibilities, that's for sure.

I'm not overly thrilled with the camera pointing at you, never know when evil Nintendo might be watching >.>

But more seriously, I already have enough trouble getting Brain Age to understand what I say, now I might have to get it to understand that I'm wiggling my ears while cocking my right eyebrow and sticking out my tongue at the same time? The insanity!

Actually I'm kinda excited about the SD card slot, as TGM pointed out there are lots of things that could be done with it. Ohh, if only FFXI was on the Wii and they came out with a chocobo raising/care minigame using this, that'd be so awesome! I for one, would get a FF Harvest Moon :D

But then hey, I'm a chocobo fanboy, what can I say?

So, about that DSi . . . Hmm, I still have my good 'ol GBA SP that I use for pre-DS games, so I won't miss that slot on my DSLite . . . built-in internet access + more features? {I'm interested.}

Ya I guess the biggest gripe I've been hearing is that they are doing away with that slot. No GBA games but also no periphrials that use the slot like the Guitar Hero DS game. For me its not a deal breaker but for some people it is.

I'm not surprised at this, although I do feel they should have done this with the DS Lite rather than make ANOTHER one. I don't play GBA games as it is on my DS Lite cause I don't like the sticking out portion if I put it in my pocket, and would rather they did away with that slot in general on the Lite. If I were super serious into GBA games like a few of my friends, I'd just buy an awesome Micro and be happy with that.

I have an original PSP and a Black DS Lite and I'll probably be sticking with those for abit. Even if I wanted it, the DSi is prolly gonna be just as hard to find as the DS Lite was. God knows that wasn't a pretty event.

Well at least when Perfect Dark came out (god I loved that game...) EB had a promo where you could trade in Goldeneye and get it at half price. But that was a game and not a console...
