Nintendo's E3 conference.

personally, I'm unimpressed (watched all but the intro live on G4)

Only things I'm really interested and amazed by are:

A- GTA Chinatown (HOLY SHIT ABOUT TIME. Now start doing GTA on Wii.)
B- WiiMotionPlus/WiiSportsResort (I'm guessing this will be another "$50 Game+Controller" box, like WiiPlay, which will probably make it worthwhile. Going to need more than just swordfighting to really pull my interest, though)

Call of Duty also looks VERY good (graphically and gameplay speaking), but I'm not going to get hyped for that game without some serious online discussion.

Also, Wii Music looks AWFUL. That demonstration had no rhythm, sounded like shit, and the random notes playing just looked stupid. There is a reason rhythm games make you tap in the beat!

Animal Crossing: City Life looks like more of the same. They TOUCHED on some interesting online stuff, but it looks like it's no more online than Pokemon is, which is a disappointment to me.

Honestly, other than that, almost all of it just sounded like "confirm confirm, oh hey, you know we print money? confirm, confirm, why is hillary clinton joking about breaking her wrist? confirm, we're getting pretty good at this money printing thing, confirm" etc.

God.....I hope my daughter moves out before Animal Crossing is released. She'll never pay any attention to her kids otherwise...

Wii Speak!!! That sounds like it should be great! Plus the only big thing for me was Animal Crossing!

They're coming out with Animal Crossing for the Wii? Hmm... I hope it is more like the first one then Wild World.

Good lord, I love Animal Crossing so much . . . but I can't play it at all, because it punishes you far too much for not playing for extended periods of time. SOMETIMES YOU NEED A BREAK, AND COCKROACHES AND TOWNSPEOPLE LEAVING DON'T EXACTLY MAKE YOU WANT TO COME BACK.

On the bright side, the past few days have had some of the best Nintendo related news I've heard in a while. Nothing RELATED to Nintendo, but still, my Wii is still happy.
