Personally, this year the things I'm most excited about so far are Force Unleashed, and seeing if Nintendo tells us what the next Game Boy is going to be; since it's about time for that. There are a few other games I'm looking forward to (Okami), but they're mostly already out and it's just a matter of me getting money, or them being rereleased, and such.

I just realized, I think there's tons of stuff i'm looking forward to other than the usual stuff (Gta).. but I have actually no clue of what exactly.. I haven't been following Games news much recently. ><

Also, I often find myself interested in a lot of game news, such as the new Mario Kart, even though I know I will never have the intention of buying them.

I'm probably gonna be the only one here, but The World Ends With You, and Tales of Rebirth: PSP. Both games look great, though I hope the latter gets a state-wise release.

To be honest, I'm looking forward until Aion gets released and I get to have a bit of a play around with that. I'd be all excited for something like MGS4 and FFXIII games (if they are this year I don't know), but I don't have a PS3...

For the Wii I am looking forward to Brawl (not out in Australia I don't think?), Mario Kart Wii and seeing what Zelda is up to. I'd also love to see if SE release any info at all on their next MMO.

Oh, and seeing FFIV DS released here in Australia (hopefully!).

I looked up videos of The World Ends With You for DS on Gamespot, and I really have to ask you... What the heck makes you look forward to this? x.x

each to their own Kitty, other than RPG's I like simulation games like simcity, transport tycoon etc where I have to use my brain to build up my own metropolis. a reason why I am looking forward to this spore game. And yes I have a dysfunctional family in Sims2.

It just seems different compared to most other RPGs out there. I've played a bit of the JP version, and if it's the controls that turn you off, it's actually easier than it looks. The controls feel perfectly fine after getting used to it in about an hour or so. Maybe longer if you suck at multi-tasking

I don't know, on the videos it's looks so.... But then again, I might just have lost my interest in Nintendo handheld graphics ><

Spore will probably make me a hermit for a while, but hey hoe I would ahve put FFXIII but I don't have a PS3 yet (and wont be able to afford one until next year) Plus we wont get it till 2009 here in the Uk anyway...

I'm personally looking forward to Aion quite a bit. All of my roomates, my buddy in the army, and four more of my friends are all planning on playing it. It looks amazing, and it's something that I'm very very interested in.

Later this year for other games....Starcraft II, MGS4, XIII/Versus, Mario Kart, Soul Calibur IV, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Star Wars the Force Unleashed(looks pretty amazing so far, but not keeping hopes too high) and some smaller ones like Chaos Wars on PS2, a couple of the Lego games(batman/indiana jones).

I'm sure there's more, but those are the ones I'm really looking forward to. Also really hoping that PS3 makes some semblance of a comeback this year, it doesn't have to dominate, I don't think it's the best, but I just don't want it to tank. I like the system, and I want to see more games for it.

Mario Kart Wii and Spore are probably the only two games I'll rush out and get. I want to get a 360 or PS3 eventually but I'm in no real rush as I'm still pretty deep into FFXI.
