Here's a translation of the story:

"There has been a lot of rumours and speculations about Square developing remakes of parts 7, 8 and 9 of the Final Fantasy series. But now it has been confirmed by Square.

Square has revealed that there are about 20 games in development at this time, and about 9 of these are remakes of old Squaresoft games. Three of these remakes will be FFVII, FFVIII and FFIX.

A lot of people are sceptical to this. Many believe that Square will put too much focus on improving the graphics in the games, and forget to improve other things that perhaps weren't perfect when the games were originally released. But Square says that they will work hard on the Final Fantasies during 2003 to make them as perfect as possible.

Any release dates for the games have not yet been given, not even a rough estimation. We just hope that the games will find their way to Sweden during 2003."

I'm sure gonna get them even if I dont play them right away.

FF VII would be the only one I'm looking forward to
FF VIII...is crappy and nobody liked it too much to begin w/ (I like laguna though...he rox)
and FF XI ...why are they remaking this? It was a cool game to begin w/, graphics were excellent considering the psx's specs.

if they do remake them ill probably get them
i think though that improving the graphics will just mean re designing the characters and the will just leave them on 2 back grounds so the graphics wont be special, it would be nice to see them with x style graphics though if they do that. i think they should concentrate on re-releasing 1, 2 and 3.
i also wander if thease games will get a jap release only.

I would buy all of them even though I really didn't like VIII that much, but I'm eager to see what they'll do to it to make it better.
