Has anyone had the problem where the xbox 360 wont read the ffxi disk but it reads everything eles?.

Sounds like a scratched or faulty disc to me. Is the disc new? Icemage |

yeah brand new it was working less then an hr ago. the xbox is new also.

it doesn't take much to scratch a disk. Is your system upright? I've heard of problems with some xboxes scratching the disks when they play them.

You know, I just got done dealing with this proublem with Halo 3. It turned out my HDD needed replacing (after I spent 3 weeks waiting for a replacement disk). If your disk has been working until recently then I would think it is only your disk and not something major.
