AHHH!!! Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes announced!!!

That's it! It's official!! The new Metal Gear Solid title for gamecube is confirmed, and it's scheaduled to be released later this year, AND WILL BE SHOWN AT E3! It's also a remake of the first metal gear solid! SOOOO AWESOME!!!!! it's being developed by silicon knights, the company that made eternal darkness. with the supervison of Hideo Kojima and Shigeru Miyamoto. I just hope the fact that they're making it, wont change the quality of the games. I still hope Hideo has some control on it. I can not wait to see how the graphics will look! This was just announced on gamespot. There's a short article on there about it. This is a happy happy day for me indeed! NOW E3 GET HERE NOW SO I CAN SEE WHAT'S UNVEILED!!

They will eventually put it on the PS2. All you have to do is wait

No, it wont come out on ps2, look at the developement involved. It's not just konami or hideo kojima behind it. Silicon knights is doing the developement, and arent they mainly controlled by nintendo? i'm not sure. However, if that's not a key factor. You forget, miyamoto is involved. The guy who invented games such as mario, and donkey kong, and every nintendo franchise which we know of pretty much. It says in the gamespot article that this is a nintendo gamecube exclusive. Since nintendo is quite involved in the production as well, it's just gonna be on their systems. So no, it's NOT going to be released on ps2, or xbox eventually. Even if a substance type version was made, miyamoto was still involved in the process of making it. He works for nintendo, and nintendo doesnt develope for other systems.

I am no fan of MG series, I have played the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 for the Nes (Don't ask, yes Big Boss was in it).
And as far as I am concerned it was ok but not perfect. The story had its flaws and that I did not like. Metal Gear Solid for the PSX had a really bad story at the time the only thing that pulled it up was it's good graphics (the graphics was good in the year it came out ^^). But for me the ting I like the most about a game is its story so again not perfect. Metal Gear Solid 2 had a good story to a degree (better then the previous ones at least) I have got 100% in both tanker and Plant in the difficulties: Very-Easy, Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme. The only difficulty I have not done is European-Extreme (only pal version I think). I have not yet played MGS2 Substance, but I suspect it is a VR version of MGS2. I can't say I look forward to a new MGS. Since it is going to come to Nintendo, it won't have much competion, the only good game's Nintendo ever has made is Zelda and Mario.
