Rogue Galaxy left me worried, which is why I was skeptical of White Knight Story. But I am a forgiving person, so I hope they've learned their lessons from that game.

I never played Rogue Galaxy, but I usually hear about how great it was every time White Knight Story is mentioned. I played Dark Cloud and I thought it sucked hard. The UI of these screen shots have left me pretty confused about how it works. And watching the trailers and seeing the player fidget with them made me even more confused. Anyone care to elaborate?

From the only gameplay video shown so far, it looks like the game plays similar to FINAL FANTASY XII, albeit your party members have much more independence in their actions. That was a while ago though, so we'll probably get a much better look at it soon, at TGS where the game will be playable.

I loved Rogue Galaxy... until I hit chapter 6. The game introduces a nauseatingly awful gimmick that pretty much ruined any enjoyment I could get out of the combat. Action-based combat systems cease to be fun when you have to access the menu constantly because your AI partners keep getting raped, heh...
