I believe all DS-era pokemon games are compatible for trades, Black and White was compatible with Diamond Pearl (4th Gen) so it should work between D/P and B/W2.

Has anybody ever looked at the height of some Pokemon? Going from the sprite alone, I would've guessed Flygon is fairly small. But then I looked it up and it's actually 6'7'' which would actually make it taller than me.

Nah, the anime does whatever it wants (that's a good rule in general.) Charizard is 5'7", Ash's Charizard is super tall.

The Generation IV Pokedex (and probably Gen V?) had a height comparison feature that would show the Pokemon next to the player. That's probably the best reference. Maybe the 3DS Pokedex too, I don't know if those are to scale. Probably are, since 3D models scale a lot easier.


The battle sprites are not to scale because then they wouldn't be able to show Wailord. Well, ostensibly they could, but every other Pokemon would be 1 pixel or a 2x2 square.

Such a great game. The only thing I could really ask for would be for it to be released on PC so it could be rendered in full 1080p instead of that upscaled pseudo-720p (pretty sure it's 480p) res 3D models are rendered on the PS3. But that applies to most other PS3 games anyway.

Other than that it's difficult for me not to love this game.

ZOE HD looks like it turned out iffy. Not that I was ever a huge fan of the series, but I do remember the PS2 versions running pretty consistently at 60 FPS, Turns out the 360 version is 40 FPS in gameplay and the PS3 is 32 FPS. 360 manages the motion blur better while the PS3 version is more whitish for some reason.

Its not botched as badly as Silent Hill HD which actually got patched for PS3 and the patch never came to 360 (because they didn't want to pay for the hours and authentication fees), but still not as polished as MGS collection was. Does Konami even care about its other IPs outside of MGS? I thought Kojima Productions might have gotten some oversight on this one, but apparently not.

Oh well, I didn't buy it either way. Its just sad that some of these HD ports are not getting the respectful treatment they should be getting. Ico/SotC was great, MGS was good, Halo HD was pretty impressive considering how all-out they went with it, God of War is done well and even Nintendo's various remakes are handled with great care. Can't vouch for DMC collection, but I've heard nothing bad. Seems like Ubi Soft and Konami are the only ones that really halfass this stuff.

I started to worry when I saw the new (and freaking slow) intro, but I hoped it was just because the Eureka guys wanted to show off their animation skillz instead showing Jehuty's awesomeness. And now I'm reading some disappointing stuff about the port... orz

Meh, if it really is that bad a dud I'll just keep playing Ultimate Frontier and get Triangular frontier instead of ZOE HD.

The PS3 demo they included with the Macross Frontier movies was pretty awesome in case they decide to make an HD version of the PSP games (though I hope they release it on PC rather than PS3.)

I'm up to 89% synch now too. Once I finish with AC3 I'm gonna hop onto FFXIV and check out the attacks going on in each of the cities. Even Darnus has been sighted attacking!
