He's talking about Paragon/Renegade points, not War Assets.

That said, you don't really need to obsess over the blue/red morality in ME3 because you get neutral Reputation for most everything.

YAY Finally got the 100% readiness achievement - now to never, EVER touch the MP mode again (though I kinda want to check out the Asari justicar I unlocked... meh.)

ME3 is too much of a cluster**** - I never really felt overwhelmed when doing a replay in ME1, just tired (from having to redo segments over & over via multiple playthroughs). Well, that and the unbearable roflcart.

It will never be an easy game. You can't hold somebody's hand through Demon's or Dark Souls.

You can eliminate a ton of the difficulty if there's direct matchmaking. We're not talking about Diablo III here were cheap death on Hardcore is the rule of the day, we're talking about a game that's harsh by nature, but totally fair about it.

What makes the boss fights work best, however, is the game's relentless brutal nature. You can't get to the gargoyle boss, for example, if you don't learn how to defend and evade on your own power. You allow for matchmaking then voice chat is easy to arrange over skype and friends can tell new everything that's coming.

That's why you were thrown on random servers each log in to start with, each time you log in you're in a different server so you can't tell people where to meet you. Direct matchmaking undermines much of the concept of the game, if you take that away you might as well remove auto saves so everyone can mulligan a choice they didn't like making.

After that its just another game for the dudebro crowd.

Playing through Persona 4 again, just to fight Margaret. I should probably do the same for Persona 3 and fight Elizabeth as well. I've never fought either of the Velvet Room attendants, all I know is Elizabeth employs rules with a devastating penalty while Margaret has a 50 turn timer of sorts.
