Heres some info i found on Gamespot today. Incase you havent seen it already!

According to Impress Gamewatch, Monolith Soft has revealed a number of details on Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose. Episode II's storyline will be a continuation of Xenosaga I. The story will be centered on Zohar and the people surrounding it, and a number of the mysteries remaining from Episode I will be answered. In addition, Jr. will be the center of the storyline. Interestingly, Shion's brother, Jin Uzuki, will now be one of the characters playable from the beginning of the game.

Xenosaga Episode II will adopt the basic game mechanics from Episode I, with some changes to improve general gameplay. The speed of the battle sequences will be faster, and the transition time from the adventure screen to the battle screen will be vastly improved. The greatest change from Episode I to Episode II is the graphics--the character models are much more realistic than before. Kos-Mos will no longer have her helmet, since its functions are now available inside of her. The reason Shion is no longer wearing glasses will be revealed in the game.

Hmmm, Jr. is going to be the center of the story huh. I guess I could see it coming (all the mysteries about him and his past) its just that he kinda got on my nerves in Ep1, ok he REALLY got on my nerves! I hope the new character designs will take that away and he will have a "less annoying" voice

Oh yeah! Whats everyones thoughts on the loss of Mitsuda? I'm personnally really really dissapointed. His compositions are one of the main reasons I love the Xeno games, because he brings it to life!

I'm sure the new composer will do an OK job, but she hasn't got the same influence Yasunori has! She is very talented dont get me wrong, but she is only good with your basic "anime/game" soundtracks, ya know the "good vs evil" kinda thing, very much like Nobuo Uematsu "Final Fantasy" style music. You do need to be very talented to be able to do what they do! BUT Xenosaga has a unique story, much more than anyother Anime/Game soundtrack and Mitsuda knew this, and he used his different ability and creates "masterpieces" that cant be beaten.

To me Yasunori Mitsuda and Xeno is a pair that shouldn't be messed with and I can only hope that he returns for episode 3
