Something thats been on my mind...
Does anyone know if steal has a better rate if you have your weapon put up or out, and does it have a better rate if your behind the mob. This has just been on my mind for a few weeks. I have been trying to test it but I cant really. What do you all think, give me any feed back and any info on it.

You think you're the best, but there is always someone better.

I've always had better steal rate behind the monster..and a little to the side. Personally, I dont think the front works very good.

I haven't been able to notice a difference at all as long as you don't have aggro on you, it's all the same as far as I can see I steal from behind the tank (in front of the mob) all the time. If you have aggro though, the % seems to plumit.

But, I mean do you see a better rate when your in battle or out of battle? Like lets say you just run up and steal without being in battle then flee away?

I definitly see a better rate when Im in battle and behind the mob. I think Steal is designed that way so that you must be in a party to have a better chance of stealing from harder enemies. Now granted, some mobs are just easier to steal from than others, but when I steal beastcoins from mobs, I have always had the best luck stealing while fighting it from behind.
