Making Gil as a THF? exp players plz help
hi guys,

im a lvl 30THF/15WAR on Lakshmi server, ive just only hit 30 and decide i should start making money since i have gilfinder and Treasure Hunter plus sneak attack

ive farmed in wadi farming gobs there up in the higher lvl after the gyser they drop about 30 odd gil per gob and i get animal glue here and there theres also wadi hares that drop G.Grass which you can sell in jeuno for about 600-900 gill depending on prices at the time.

another place ive started farming is Palborough Mins with Qaudavs im getting better gil then wadi around 40-50 per pop

i only know these two places. any tips guys? is there a better way to make money as a THF?

thanx

Try Giddeus instead. Giddeus has plenty of Beastmen for stealing coins (although most of them just regular beastman coins) plus they have bees. Beehive chips sell pretty well.

Sleepshrooms sell pretty well. I steal them about as often as bird feathers (my early favorite) and they drop pretty regular too. Sell for 2400 a stack on Sylph. This was in LaThiene but the Ranfaures might be a good place in case you can't kill the shrooms in La Thiene easy enough.

I've heard good things about Tahrongi Canyon. Kill the onion guys, birds, dhalmel, rabbits, yagudo. You get hides, meat, bird feathers and sartuta cotton. Most of which sells well.

Konstaht Highlands has lots of bees, saplings (for stealing seeds), goblins and quadav. Personally I never spent much time here farming for gil.

You should check out which items are dropped where. See which ones sell on your server the fastest and/or the most money (its important to balance the two. It doesn't help to gain money if the high ticket items only sell 1 stack every few days).

i have to agree on that one. giddeus is a very nice place for a lvl30 thf to farm. . not only do the yugado drop gil. but they also drop necklaces you can easily sell for 100gil in bazaar. while your farming more yugado. an yes they will sell cause lazy/rich players like me, need those for stupid tenshido fame..
besides that they drop feather, beastcoins, silver beastcoins. loads of different type of low level armor. chest keys. an on a rare occasion you may pass a nm who drops neat stuff,
the only thing i can say is this. dont hunt mobs for the low gil they drop. hunt them for the items they drop, that you know will sell l. the gil is just an added bonus...........

Excellent advice above me. Here's my two cents:

At level 30, I farmed like crazy in Spore Hollow in Jugner Forest. The funguars there still barely give xp, so you get dark crystals, sleepshrooms and dance shrooms. After the fact, I also found out that the dancing weapons which are about a 10 second run away also drop regen scrolls pretty frequently. those sell for 3-6k. I'm not sure if you can take them at level 30, though. Just bring along meat mithkabobs to minimize your downtime, and you might want to buy an antidote or two in case you get queasyshroomed with less than 100 hps.

You know I'm right.

When I was lv30, first thing is to clear many many inventory in your bag. leave only equipments that you are equipping. Then go into Pal Mines, killing quads, it's so much drop and their drops worth 300-600 each piece selling to the NPC. I can make around 15k-20k for 1 hr or so. Quads also drop gils.
my two cents.

You sell backplates in the Auction House. Check the latest prices. You'll find them under Other->Beast-made.

If you are gonna hunt Quadav in Palborough Mines, they drop Fetich items. You can only carry one of each. Don't bother selling them in the AH. They sell to NPCs for 200, you rarely get more than that for them in AH. And even if you do get a little more they take up space. You'd be better off selling more Quadav backplates.

I love Konchant Highlands, Stray Mary, Rams, Thunder Elemtals, short trip to the Emperor and close to Bastok and Jeuno. I wont do Pallsbourugh till 41 though for my AOE WS.

Oh I missed that. I imagine that any non-guild NPC vendor will buy them, like the Fetich pieces.

Since they are used in smithing perhaps the smithing guild in Bastok Metalworks will pay more. I've never tried to sell them to an NPC since they sell in AH for 500 pretty quickly.

Someone was talking about killing Dancing Weapons at level 30 in Jugner Forest.
DON'T DO IT!
I tried it as a 41/20 DRG/WAR with Wyvern out and even then I had to rest after each battle.
It was too much downtime so I eventually left after getting my Scroll of Regen.
