no one can verify it. it's just different people's feeling. a lot of people also said tarutaru is the best stealer. and tarutaru highest stat is int. so int might help or might not who knows - -

I would assume that INT does affect steal rate, why else does the thief af hat have +5 int? o_O

Stealing is based on INT.

I dont really know, but it seems logic since THF's INT is high.
Also, Elvaan THF are not very good stealers... I was helping a Male Elvaan THF in Beadeaux(sp) to steal his AF1 item (Gotta steal something from Quadavs) we were there for more than 3h... When his Steal wasnt ready, I was stealing from Quadavs, and I stole like 3 Stews before he could even steal one (they're rare/ex so I dropped mines and coudn't give him).
