Best weapon type for a Thief?

Heya people,
was just wanting to get a feel for what other thiefs perfer for weapons?

Most use swords for fast blade+sneak attack until level 33 when you can use "viper bite" with daggers.
Its best to keep dagger leveled up as you go so you don't have a ton of catching up to do at 33.

Yeah, I'm using sword until I get Viper Bite, so I carry a sword and dagger around with me all the time.
