Thf/War Vs. Thf/Nin...Pros & Cons..
So ok, I'm sure this debate has been done to death, but i'm still undecided in which I i'll dedicate my Thief's sub to.

Thf/War:
  • Provoke - Can be helpful in emergencies...
  • Berserk - 25ish% atk boost if i think? surely will help with fuidama + berserk + ws....
  • Defender - Useful if your in a jam..
  • Warcry - More atk is always good, but its mainly used for taunting so...
  • Defense UP - Can't hurt..
  • Resist Virus - meh..
  • Double Attack - Very nice once you get Triple Atk, you'll have a good chance at geting those extra hits in..
  • Attack UP - Always good..

    VS.

    Thf/Nin:
  • Agi & Dex Stat Bonus - Agi & Dex you say? Gimme gimme~..
  • Stealth - Great for sneaking around and pulling..
  • Resist Bind - Meh..
  • Duel Wield - Two weapons, which means a teeny bit more dmg + the stats from said weapon. And lets be honest, its flat out cool..
  • Duel Wield UP (lvl25) - Lessens delay a bit..
And Ninjitsu...

The only Ninjitu that I can see as useful would be Tonko: Ichi/Ni (Sneak), and of course, Utsusemi: Ichi/Ni (Blink). The rest is wanabe Black Magic, but I honestly don't know how useful they can be, so please someone correct me if so.

Although I'll probably end up maxing out both War and Ninja to lvl 37, I'd like to hear your guys comments.

~Peace Out~

for me i think THF/NIN is better...becoz at higher lv you can equip 2 weapon and there're 2 weapon that +7dex and +7agi and you can equip two at the same time...boost your fuidama damage alot

but right now i play /war i'll play till i hit lv75 and then i'll change to /nin...

and about /war lv25 for double attack and thf/ lv55 for tripple attack...the more you make the attack the more you can perform double or tripple attack...with /nin you hit slower than only 1 weapon equip...but /nin you always hit 2 times

/nin you can make MB too but with crappy damage but you still can help do MB

i wanna play /nin but cost me too much...for blink ninjutsu need at least 30k-50k T.T and maybe i'll try /rng later on

Do not say meh to resist bind if you are a puller.
If you get binded you will be OWNZORED.

Who doesnt love /nin?

Im currently playing /war, but I'll remedy that in 5.3 levels. Now consider: Nin gives stat bonuses to the only real things thfs have going for them, dex and agi. We're not red mages here, we want to specialize.

More often then youd think, and much more then Id like, I happen to be the puller. Resist bind would make my day, especially when fighting qufim worms, and running from wights.

The dual wield ability is, how do I say, a thiefs best friend. Ive seen thieves with daggers that attack with danged little delay. With two of them, that would be a constant damage (and TP) stream. What thief doesnt like TP?

Ive seen Ninjutsu do 100 damage at lvl 23. Now call me cheap, but I dont consider that to be a glancing blow. Plus its a resource when in need. Who can resist?

The only thing Id miss about warrior is the damage increase, but hitting twice would more then make up for that. Then there is provoke, but I never use it unless Very Bad God Awful Things happen.

A shame that most thieves go this road, spoiling my originality, but at least I'll never be as populated as war/mnk.

Thf/Nin. Who could ask for more?

Eagles may soar, but have you ever seen a weasle get sucked up by a jet enjine?
