Equipment Blues!
Hello fellow thieves =)
Think this is my first post on the forums but
I have a question if ya'll don't mind answering for me.
Currently i'm a lvl 38/19 thf/nin and i'm wearing
full mercanary gear except belt which is a survival ..
Could i hold out with just this gear till i get my AF
armor? or will i suffer/be punished from lack of defense
I could be getting elsewhere?

I could go on and buy my later armor early to avoid the
surge in price of armor cause of demand ... currently carpace
and raptor armor is very very cheap ... but once the huge
amount of the na players reach that lvl the price will sky rocket.
What ya'll suggest i do that would benefit me as a thief?

If you're a Thief, which you must be if you are on this board, grab the dex and agi increasing stuff. I wouldn't worry too much about def since you're not really taking hits. Not sure what there is later in terms of armor (chest, hands, head, feet, legs), but the accessory stuff you should go with are Mercenary Belt (though you said you have Survival Belt and I don't know how this differs from Merc belt, but Merc belt increases dex and agi and that is what you need), Nomad Mantle, 2 Balance Rings, and 2 Drone Earings. This gives you the agi and dex increases which enhance your sneak and trick attacks. (Sneak definitely gets more powerful cause of dex increasing stuff, and from my reading trick is affected by agility increasing stuff)

Do you really believe in anything besides the weight of your guns?

My jewelery slots are great atm have +3dex rings, some evasion
cloak +1, +3 drone or whatever agil earrings, or shield earrings
(+10hps -10mps a piece) .. belt is pretty cheap for some reason
( 3 def +17hps +5evasion) i don't know why its so cheap at AH
currently use that over the mercanary belt in storage
...
Btw Thanks for the suggestion of the brigidane +1 i never noticed
it untill know and i'm surprised i overlooked it .. that hairpin
has been a mission hunting it down .. so far i had 2 flys to myself
and no luck =(
