heheh.. well thank u ludwig but thats not really what i meant. i mean if u were two people in your group that were thieves, or more likely, a group where u had a thief and someone else subing a thief, would the thief abilities then stack?

yeah, I am bumping an old old thread... but since it was never really answered and I want to know this too...

Does a party benifit twice as much for having 2 treasure hunting thief then just one? In other words, do the treasure hunting skills from 2 different theif stack in the same party?

Almost everybody says no it doesn't help at all. For some reason, i think it does :/ When we go to hunt tabars for meat we get more drops when 2 of us sub thief than if one of us does. I guess it's more likely that one person's TH kicks in when the other person fails or something. It's not like we've ever gotten 2 meats at once. It's probably just psychological though... it feels better to think that we're getting more drops

it's exactly as you said, the TH dont stack, but if one doesnt get the drop the other might, thus making more consistent drop results. this is not reduced to thfs TH though, i remember soloing for carbuncle's ruby after i hit 45, i killed leeches for over 2 hours in bubu and no drop, before that i had helped getting 4 people's rubies with no problems, then a friend and another guy ptd up with me and we got our 3 rubies in one hour..
