What stat does a Summoner most rely on and secondly most rely on? (e.x. INT DEX VIT)

I hope the thing I said made some sense. I'm not sure how the stats really relate to one another, or if MP is determined by your race alone. If it is, then both the INT and MND stats would be what (was it Shiela?) called "play stats".
