Ok about Maat

What is the best way to fight him... I've tried twice and both times i either die cause my buffs wear to fast or his avatar kills me with AF..
I tried the shiva way but it hasn't worked i was told to just use fenrir AF right away run let him die then resummon and AF again

im doing this at lvl 70 to and to put it to rest this is the only job i have at this lvl so no saying try with a different job.
Anything would help

Maat strategies help you know what to expect and general things to do during the battle, but don't be married to them.

The most important thing is to know you're job well enough to think on your feet. When things go bad, know what to do to bring them back. No guide can tell you how to do that. If you haven't spent time soloing mobs before, go out and do that and be comfortable with it before taking a stab at the old man.
