If that's your idea of entertainment, you're on the wrong board. Gilgamesh is plenty active, it's just that thankfully, none of that crap spreads here.
I suggest getting used to the community here ^^ Unless I see a new post on the Gilgamesh threads, I generally stay out of the Server talk. You'll learn more interacting with ppl from other servers anyway. Earlier today, Alla announced some kind of transaction that gives Allakhazam ties to IGE.com (I dont know the details, nor do I really want to know the details). A lot of the people over there are pissed off about it, and someone is going around pointing everyone in this direction as the new safe haven. For the next couple of days, expect a large influx of new posters to be coming here, as this may become the next BIG forum that all the FFXI people post on, since they dont want to be supporting IGE.
Im afraid I dont know how this is going to affect the Gilgamesh forums over there yet...no one seems to have mentioned it yet, but Im sure news will spread with time. Its very possible that this Gilgamesh forum will be the new posting home of many players--myself included. Only time will tell. Im gonna ride the waves at Allakhazam for a week or two and see how things settle over there first, before officially coming here.
However, that being said, hiya  Lots of names here that I recognize. Gonna be interesting posting with a bunch of people that Ive seen, but still dont know. Making new friends again is always fun.
