Samurai Staples

I am planning on making a Samurai and was wondering what items really stand out and the current price on them while leveling. I've really only played a whm so I don't know most of the DD melee items besides a Haubergeon.

The main focus for SAMs are +Acc and +Dex gear with +STR stuff to macro in for WS's.

There is quite a few pieces of equipment. Like Ochiudo's Kote which cost a bit and Jujitsu Gi which don't cost nearly as much but is still good.

Try FFXIAH.com and power search to look up all the gear for SAM, that should help you out. Attack and Accuracy are important, as well as STR and maybe some DEX since it helps 2 handers a bit more. Depending on what kind of food you use with determine what gear you should focus on.

Also you'll want to call Tom Cruise, because from what I've researched he is/was the last samurai, and he has a hagun.

Go to ffxiah.com and search under your server for prices but here's a list of top SAM stuffs;

And there's a lot more really but there's a general idea of end game stuffs... you'll find this out as you go along.

For now, I would just say try to keep both your great katana and archery skills up as you level. SAM can't shoot as well as a RNG but they do still have the 2nd highest Archery skill in the game and so should always have a bow handy.

When I put this link up in ls chat a bunch of people went there and none of them read the disclaimer. It was only after I said "Guys, it isn't gospel. Did you even read the disclaimer? It's just this guys opinion just like you have yours." that they realized there was one. So ya, I don't think everyone reads it so better to warn than have someone running around thinking its gospel.
